To scores of people in Japan and other parts Asia, solar eclipse on Monday was a real feast to eyes! A ring of fire that for five minutes in most parts of Japan except Hong Kong enthralled the people who were said to have floored on looking at the spectacular sight in skies.
As the eclipse began, the sky was covered with clouds raising many apprehensions among the enthusiasts who were ready with long camera lenses and eclipse glasses to see the solar eclipse. A slight drizzle was also reported and then the sky became clear giving a chance for millions for gazing at the sky.
In China and Japan, several exclusive eclipse tours on airplanes and boats were arranged. Meanwhile, Japan government warned the possible dangers of viewing eclipse with naked eyes. Also, several eclipse films were sold by roadside in Japan.
All in all, the magic in the sky when Moon passed in front of the Sun excited people. The event was telecast live in many countries.
