Zero tolerance to indiscipline in the party: Sonia

The AICC supremo Sonia Gandhi has convened Congress Parliamentary Party meeting this morning. She has called upon the Congress leaders to give up factional behavior and fight and come together to work in a team. She stressed on discipline. She has also made it clear that indiscipline would not be tolerated in the party.

She has said that the party’s emphasis should be on the growth as that was the base of the party. She has also reportedly warned the leaders stating that public were closing watching the Congress party and therefore all leaders, especially in Gujarat and Karnataka should be working hard in the wake of assembly polls that are round the corner.

While Sonia Gandhi spoke on discipline, she didn’t mention about what action the high command would be take against the alleged coverts in the party in Andhra Pradesh wing. It is known that minister D L Ravindra called Kiran Kumar Reddy as a covert while many other leaders also took on the chief minister. Since she said indiscipline would not be tolerated, will she change the chief minister in the state in the wake of the allegations he had been facing has apparently become a debate among the political circles in the state.
