Sassoon flooded with tears as relative claim their dead

As known to every one regarding the incident which took place in the heart of the pune city on January 25, where an insane bus driver claimed 9 lifes and injured 26 people with his crazy driving.In that deceased list Pooja, a second-year dental student at Bharati Vidyapeeth was one of the victim.As every day she used to go to her college by bus, But unfortunately one January 25 she took her bike to attend her daily classes in college and became a victim in the hands of of the crazy driver's violence at Poolgate, Which was said by the victim Pooja Patil'scousin Tejas Kale. 

The victim Pooja who is at the age of 19 where she died on the spot on January 25 when these crazy driver went on the violence at Swargate chowk.A hospital named as Sassoon which admitted almost eight dead bodies for post-mortem, where as the hospital was flooding with tears as relatives and friends who came to receive their dead.

Pooja, a second-year dental student at Bharati Vidyapeeth, was the youngest daughter of her parents and dreamed of becoming a dental surgeon. "She was a very bright student and an extremely amiable person. Pooja missed her merit list by just 2 to 3 per cent. She left the house at 8.30 am, never to come back home again," said Sujata Birajdar, a relative. 

Pooja was driving her vehicle when the incident took place. Her father Bhaurao Patil, who was on another vehicle nearby, was injured. Shweta Oswal (27), who was going to visit her doctor for a regular check-up, was hit by Mane at Vega Center near Swargate chowk. 

"Shweta was driving the bike and was hit by the ST bus. She was injured and was admitted to Jahangir Hospital, where she died," said her brother-in-law Dinesh Oswal. Shweta's family donated her eyes at Jahangir Hospital. "Considering it as our social responsibility, we have decided to donate her eyes, which can be useful for needy," Dinesh said. 

Ramlalit Shukla (23), who hailed from Baliya district of Uttar Pradesh, was also among the dead. "Shukla was a skilled glass-making labourer and was living in the basti located at Katraj-Kondhwa Road along with other labourers," said C M Patil, who is the contractor with whom Shukla was working. 

Patil said that Ramlalit Shukla was on the way to Dhankawadi on his bike to Siddhi hospital where he was died on spot after he was hit by a bus driver.As Ramlalit Shukla was working as glassmaker for an elevator.And another person Ankush Trikone (46) was died on spot when he was hit by a bus driver as the victim was on his courier dispatch job in the morning.On January 25 as more than Six bodies were handed over to relatives by 3 pm, and one dead body again in the evening. The only one dead body of the victim Pooja Patil was yet to be handed over as her father was recovering in hospital.  (TS)
