China complex awakened by scorpions, another modus for forced eviction

This has been a common strategy in China that the residents are forced to vacate and the agents will stoop down to get their objective achieved. In one such case the residents of an apartment complex in Shenzen, China, which borders Hong Kong, woke up to a rude shock. On one day the residents found something crawling over their body and when they woke up, found hundreds of scorpions invading their apartments.   The residents believe that a real estate agent might be responsible for the mischief.

The horrified residents complained to the police, who are helping them to hunt these 110 pound stinging monsters down. Residents told the press that a man carrying a large bucket was seen walking from the apartment’s development office and dumping the contents into open windows. Currently, the company is trying to evict the residents in favor of a more profitable construction project.

The company denies these allegations on the grounds that their deal was sealed with the construction company and that there would be no need to force evictions. The apartments in question are slated for demolition, but homeowners have not yet signed anything as they are awaiting compensation settlements.
