American researchers create panacea drug

hivIn a major breakthrough in the medical field, researchers of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US have created a drug called DRACO which would serve as a panacea for several health problems ranging from common cold to HIV to other dreadful viruses.

Considered as the greatest discovery after the penicillin, the drug can cure human viruses such as flu, polio, the deadly dengue, measles, German measles, cold sores, rabies and even HIV and many more.

DRACO, which homes in on infected cells and makes them self-destruct, will hit the pharmacy shelves in a decade, according to the Daily Mail.

“The discovery of antibiotics revolutionized the treatment of bacterial infections and this discovery will revolutionize the treatment of viral infections,” said Mike Rider who has headed the team of researchers.

He said the DRACO killed 15 viruses in lab tests which included the germs that bring in common cold and two types of flu.
