In a gory incident of aggravated mayhem, a 48-year old US woman allegedly drugged her husband, tied him to a bed and cut off his genitals. Later, she threw away the chopped off human content into a dustbin.

California Police, who said the incident took place on Monday night, arrested the lady and sent her to the Orange County Jail.

Detailing the incident, police said that southern California- based Catherine Kieu Becker, who was seeking a divorce, drugged the night meal and served it to her 51-year old husband. “After the husband lost consciousness following the dinner, she tied his arms and legs to the bed with rope, removed his clothes and attacked him with kitchen knife. As she cut off his genitals, the victim gained his consciousness,” said the police.

After the incident, the woman called the medical emergency and police who found him bleeding profusely. “The victim was in a serious condition after undergoing a surgery at Irvine Medical Center in Orange and we are expecting him to survive,” said Lt Jeff Nightengale of the Garden Grove police.

The woman was booked under various laws for acting in aggravated mayhem, spousal abuse, poisoning and assault with a deadly weapon.
