Unidentified gunmen today shot dead Pakistan’s Minister for Minority Affairs Mr Shahbaz Bhatti in Islamabad.
Pak TV channels announced that gunmen fired at him from close range when he was about to get into his car at his residence in Islamabad early this morning. The Minister was on his way to office when the firing took place.
Aides immediately took him to hospital but doctors could not save his life, Geo TV said.
