Till date, the news is that, Mahesh’s ‘Dookudu’ has already earned the invested returns to the film makers i.e., Aachanta Ram, Gopi Chand and Anil Sunkara who has produced the film under the banner of 14 reels entertainment and also the distributors who have marketed this film, in each and every center. It has crossed the 70 croremark, long time back. Even in overseas market, ‘Dookudu’ is creating a new record each day.

Now, on September 9th, ‘Dookudu’ is released in Tamil Nadu as well. It seems, ‘Dookudu’ is the only T – Town film till date that has been released in the 21 theaters in Tamil Nadu. And within no time, till date the movie has crossed the earnings of 51 lakh rupees, long time back. So, ‘Dookudu’ is the first film as such to earn such revenue. Many sources said even many expected Tamil films also would not earn such revenue.
