Disco king Bappi Lahiri has made his directorial debut accompanied by a English documentary on world peace.  Interestingly, the documentary is titled 'World Peace, Love And Harmony'. Disco king expressed that as much as he love singing and have tried acting too, direction is something that he always wanted to endeavor which he have. In fact, it is overwhelming that his first ever venture has won a nomination for a prestigious award. Due to that reason it has motivated him to do much more. The film has voice-over by actor Kabir Bedi. Interestingly, Disco king has also sung as well as composed music for the film. Salman in Lai Bhaari August 19, 2013 17:55

Absolutely exciting fact has come into prominence that Salman Khan will make a special appearance in Riteish Deshmukh’s second Marathi production venture Lai Bhaari. Lai Bhaari is being directed by Nishikant Kamat and is being co-produced under Deshmukh’s Mumbai Film Company and Cinemantra Entertainment. Deshmukh said in a statement that it was extremely compassionate of Salman to himself offer to be part of their film Lai Bhaari. Deshmukh expressed that it was splendid to do a Marathi scene with him. Furthermore to go, according to a source, Deshmukh and Khan have known each other for many years. Interestingly, both were shooting in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City for their respective projects, Khan for Mental and Deshmukh for Lai Bhaari. After the shoot, they would sit together as well as chat. The source added that Khan was very intrigued by Deshmukh’s approach to his production venture and enjoyed hearing about the film and the story. He then came forward and suggested being part of Deshmukh’s production venture.  Deshmukh was overjoyed with the idea and spoke to Kamat and created a special sequence for Khan which will be one of the highlights of Lai Bhaari. Case filed against SRK! August 09, 2013 19:32

The news was brought into prominence that a complaint has been filed in a local court questioning action against Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan along with his wife Gauri and others under the Pre-conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act in connection with a child born through surrogacy to the couple. Furthermore, the complaint, filed by lawyer Varsha Deshpande yesterday, declared that the child's gender had been determined in precedence of birth which has genuinely resulted being violating the sections of the Act. To move ahead, the 47-year-old actor's third child was born to a surrogate mother of late occurrence at a private hospital, the complaint explained and demanded as a right that gender testing was banned under the Act. The lawyer said she had earlier filed a complaint with health department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) following media reports regarding a child being born to the couple through surrogacy in the middle of accusation that gender test had been conducted. Within a short period after this, civic officials visited the actor's house on June 17 to assure the facts. Nevertheless, the team was sent away at the same time the actor had rubbished affirmation that the stipulation of the Act had been violated. The complainant declared that the civic officials had experienced failure to take action against the couple and therefore she moved the magistrate's court accompanying a fresh complaint. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Uday Padwad has fixed the matter for hearing on September 12. In the intervening time, the court has issued notices to the couple, civic health officials and other defendant. Now, only time will say what's the hidden secret, behind the scene. Chennai Express is an upcoming 2013 Indian action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. In actuality this is the second collaboration between Khan and Padukone subsequent to the 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om and the first between Khan and Rohit Shetty. Now, coming to Chennai Express, it's is about a man's journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram as well as what happens along the way after he falls in love with the daughter of a local don.  Principal photography commenced on 27 September 2012 while the filming commenced in October 2012 and was wrapped-up by May 2013. It's prominent matter that the makers of Sholay proceeding to re-release the 1975 craze blockbuster in October in 3D version. Proceedings are also in progress to have a grand premiere in October.
