Kabali Analysis

Kabali Movie Review and Ratings

Kabali starts on an interesting note and the first half of the movie makes the audience impressive because of some interesting and emotional episodes throughout the movie. Rajini’s mannerisms and style impresses the audience big time though the film lacks in other departments. The songs of the film have been Tamil flavoured and the entertainment has been quite low. On the whole the first half of Kabali has been passable.

The second half of the film lacks the needed interesting episodes throughout the film. Most of the episodes have been dragged too much that irritate the audience completely. Some of the interesting episodes have been narrated in a hurry that leave the audience in deep shock. The pre-climax of the film kill the entire movie and on the whole the second half of Kabali is a massive debacle and it fails to reach the expectations.

Performance

Superstar Rajinikanth has been decent with his performance throughout but he struggled to showcase his ease in the movie. His expressions have been top notch and is one of the highlights of the film. Radhika Apte has been outstanding in her role and the emotional content has been well carried over because of her expressions. Dhansika is very impressive as Rajini’s daughter and her presence has been completely apt. Winston Chao has been completely balanced as the antagonist and he delivered out his best. Dinesh Ravi, Kishore and the other actors have been decent in their roles.

Technical Aspects:

The story of the film has been old enough and reminds us of many gangster movies. The screenplay lacks enough grip which makes the film uninteresting. The dialogues have been just ok and the music has been below the average line. The background score of Kabali elevated the film at parts. The cinematography has been decent and the editing lacked perfection. The production values have been decent and PA Ranjith failed completely in presenting the second half in the most engaging way. The Tamil flavour kills Kabali completely.

Kabali Final Word

Enjoy watching the ultimate actor The Superstar Rajinikanth’s one man show Kabali.
