Singh Is Bliing Story
Raftaar Singh (Akshay Kumar) is a person who is not committed professionally in life. His father Yograj Singh gives him two options either to get married to a fat girl or grab a job in Goa. Raftaar Singh leaves to Goa and he falls in love with Sara (Amy Jackon). Twist arises when a don named Mark (Kay Kay Menon) falls for Sara and makes his moves towards her. The rest of the film is how Raftaar Singh manages Mark and wins his love. Watch the movie to know about the rest.
Singh Is Bliing Analysis
The first half of the movie is hilarious and is a laugh riot all through. The action sequences have been decent and Akshay – Amy episodes have been highly entertaining. On the whole the complete first half has been quite impressive.
The second half of the film is a huge spoiler as the movie misses logic. The film travels from Punjab to Goa and then to South Africa and next to Romania. The villain’s character which is quite important has not been written well. The second half of the movie is stretched enough which makes the movie fall flat.
Performance
Akshay Kumar who is quite habitual of playing Punjabi characters played Raftaar Singh perfectly. He has been quite energetic throughout the movie and he carried the film on his shoulders. Amy Jackson played one more glamorous role in the movie and is one of the highlights of the film. Kay Kay Menon has been wasted extremely and his character has not been written well. All others have been decent.
The story of the movie has nothing much to say and the screenplay along with the dialogues have been good at parts. The music of the movie along with the background score has been decent. The editing has been bad and is the major drawback of the film. The production values have been grand and Prabhudeva has come up with a half-baked film once again and it’s time for him to try something new to stand strong in his career.
Singh Is Bliing Final Word
Singh Is Bling has nothing new in terms of story and narration. A routine commercial film that has been made without logics. A film that can be completely ignored.
