Megastar started his career as an actor with Punadirallu in 1978 however it was Pranam Khareedu which managed to release earlier. Why Kaththi Remake?

The whole Tollywood along with Mega fans have been eagerly waiting for the comeback film of Megastar Chiranjeevi after which he announced that he decided to remake Tamil super hit movie Kaththi starring Vijay and Samantha in the lead roles. AR Murugadoss directed the movie which deals with a strong social message for the society. Before this it was Puri Jagannadh who impressed Megastar with a script titled Auto Johny. However Chiru was not happy with the second half of the film after which the film has been shelved. Even his dream project Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy was not the film that Chiru felt after which it has been kept on hold.

Shooting Updates:

Megastar Chiranjeevi took his time to shed down his weight for the film Khaidi No 150. Sensational director VV Vinayak who earlier worked with Chiranjeevi for Tagore has been assigned the responsibility to direct the film. The regular shoot of the film started on June 23rd after a long wait which left the Mega fans in delight. The makers made sure that the movie managed to get good hype all over. The movie’s working stills, videos along with the posters have been unveiled during regular intervals which helped the film reach wider section of audience. However Megastar sent a clear message that his charishma has not been vanished and his style is back to entertain the audience.

Title and First Look:

Boss is Back is the word which has been making huge noise all over. Ever since Chiru announced his comeback, Mega fans have been eagerly waiting for the title of the film along with the first look of the film. It was Ramcharan who announced the film’s title as Khaidi No 150 with the tagline ‘Boss is Back’. Mega fans have been left delighted with the title though there are talks that it has not been powerful and apt. Khaidi No 150 is one of the most awaited films that will hit the screens in the coming days in Tollywood. After a long and extensive search, the makers finalized Kajal Agarwal for the role of the female lead in the movie.

The title logo and the posters of the film have been stupendous and the background score is the major highlight of the film. Devi Sri Prasad has taken special care on Khaidi No 150 and he dropped out from many prestigious projects for Megastar. Khaidi No 150 is being produced by Ramcharan on Konidela Production Company banner. Khaidi No 150 is also made on a massive budget and the film has a huge list of technicians and actors in the movie.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film Khaidi No 150 is now one of the most awaited films and the movie’s pre-release business has been closed for all the regions. Khaidi No 150 registered massive figures from all the territories and sources revealed that the total pre-release business will touch Rs 100 crores. The movie recorded huge figure for the overseas price which is the highest ever for a Telugu movie. Khaidi No 150 is expected to rake huge figures with stupendous openings across the globe.

Item Song:

Khaidi No 150 has enough dose of commercial elements and Vinayak took special care on the film. The makers searched many actresses for a special item song in the movie and it was Catherine Tresa who has been locked for the song. It was Rai Laxmi who finally shaked leg with Megastar in the movie and the dance moves have been composed by Lawrence. Kajal Locked

After Megastar decided to make his comeback to mainstream cinema, there have been many discussions about the female lead. Top names like Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha have been considered for the role in Khaidi No 150. The makers waited for the right heroine to romance Megastar and finally it was Kajal who has locked to play the female lead. It was Ramcharan who suggested Kajal and convinced her for the role. Devi Sri Prasad who shares a special bonding with Mega family has been roped in to compose the music for Khaidi No 150. He decided to spend time for the film to bring out some melodious tunes and he even walked out Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni to concentrate specially on Khaidi No 150. The movie’s musical album has been carrying huge expectations and the makers unveiled three singles from the film. All the songs have been trending all over and turned out to be instant hits. Though, the makers planned a massive audio launch for the movie, they later decided to come out with a pre-release event for Khaidi No 150.  

Expectations at Skies:

Ever since Megastar decided to make his comeback, Khaidi No 150 has become the most talked film in Tollywood. Along with Mega fans, people across Telugu speaking states have been eagerly waiting for the film. Sensational director VV Vinayak directed the film and he has taken special care not to miss the commercial aspects of the film.
