Bholaa Shankar Story
Chiranjeevi after delivering a blockbuster Waltair Veerayya, came out with a vanished director Meher Ramesh with Bholaa Shankar. Let us take a look at the complete review of the movie.
Story: Chiranjeevi (Shankar) is a taxi driver in Kolkata. Kolkata police seek the help of taxi drivers to sort down the women trafficking in the city. Shankar comes out with a crucial clue and lands in trouble. Srikhar (Sushanth) is the brother of Lasya (Tamannah Bhatia), an advocate by profession. Srikhar falls for Maha (Keerthy Suresh). Lasya and Shankar are okay with their wedding and later Lasya objects, when she comes to know about Shankar's hidden activities and killings. Shankar reveals his past and intention for why he is involved in the crime network involving women trafficking.
Bholaa Shankar Analysis
Anyone in the industry wonders, why Chiranjeevi accepted a film from Meher Ramesh. He started with NTR’s Kantri and ended his career with the disastrous Shadow starring Venkatesh. Besides this, movies like Bholaa Shankar and Agent are fate for Anil Sunkara. His production house has delivered one more disaster.
Bholaa Shankar's film is a complete disaster. Whether it’s a comedy or action or emotion, Meher completely failed to project it in a way. The film might have been made decades before, maybe these scenes were written by Meher at a very early stage of his career. Bholaa Shankar might have been definitely made better. Chiranjeevi and Vennela Kishore's part also irritates. The second half is far better than the first half with one good song.

Bholaa Shankar is a mass entertainer but an old subtle story. Chiranjeevi's mannerism and ease was the only hope. Rather than that, nothing worked out because of Meher Ramesh’s direction. Literally, Meher has killed everyone’s character in the film, when compared to Vedalam.
Tamannaah Bhatia as a lawyer irritates big time. She is definitely a nice performer, but the poor writing and cringe ideas irritate the audience big time. Teasing female actors on the big screen is a very old irritating comedy, which looks very off on Chiranjeevi. Sushanth has nothing much to do and goes unnoticed.

Meher Ramesh is the spoiler for Bholaa Shankar. Can be given a skip.
