Brahmanandam apologizes for objectionable content

On Thursday comedian Brahmanandam apologized to the Brahmin Community for the objectionable content in the movie, Denikaina Ready which had drawn the ire of several thousands.

"I apologize if my role hurt any individual or the community. In the recent past, I have deliberately cut down playing such roles," he said talking to the Brahmin Sangham leaders. Earlier the leaders requested the comedian asking him not to be a part of such roles that degrade their community.

This move adds to the setback experienced by Mohan Babu who was told that the committee appointed by the state government has deemed the movie to have a few objectionable scenes.  "We have seen the film and discussed thoroughly about the objectionable dialogues, scenes and song sequences in it. A report will be submitted to the government on Sunday," a committee member said.

With the deletion of objectionable content from the movie which had hurt the religious feelings of the Brahmin Community, the community leaders would now put their protests to rest ending the controversy.
