Luis Suarez struck twice to earn Uruguay a 2-1 victory over England in the  World Cup Group D match on Thursday. Suarez scored goals both in first half and second half. At the 39th minute in the first half, Suarez converted Edinson Cavani's cross into a goal. However Wayne Rooney equalled the scores in the second half.

But just when the match is heading for a draw, Suarez again struck at the 75th minute. The defense of England was poor and showed there are ample of space and Suarez could easily score a goal. So with 2-1, England lost the match and its chances are tough to make it for the Round 16.

In the Group C match, Colombia entered the knock round with win over Cote d'lvoire by two goals to one. And in the same group, Japan and Greece match ended in tie. Both the teams were quite strong enough.
