MSD teams up with King Nag for bike racing

Today's two strangers could turn out into potential partners tomorrow. With stakes running high the situation rather seems an oft repeated one. And when it comes to celebrities it is no different either. It so happens that Team India skipper M S Dhoni was embarking on a venture called MSD R-N Racing Team India, that shall compete in the bike races, FIM Supersport World Championship next year. The company already got its major sponsor, Kawasaki. But the mind blowing issue is that the consortium thus formed partners from various fields and strangers all together.

In the first place Dhoni's trusted lieutenant, his manager  Arun Pandey  heads the board as Managing Director. While the directors are Sai Deep and the former mentor of Red Roosters, a bike racing team, Amit Sandill are the two of the three directors. Dhoni is on the Management of the team. And the third director is the puzzling part of the quiz. Southern superstar Nagarjuna is mentioned on the company's official website as a director, as per sources.

That's interesting and how did this happen. Actually as per a prominent media report a common man between the star and the racing company was Nandish Domlur, who is a  cardiac surgeon by profession and a close acquaintance to the star. It is a known fact that the star has interests in the sports and ofcourse abundance to stash in this multi million project.

Kawasaki MSD R-N Racing Team India has roped in riders Florian Marino of France and Dan Linfoot of Great Britain. Marino is a four-time Superstock 600 race winner, and was a full time Honda WSS rider last year. Linfoot had won two Superstock 600 races in 2008. The team is already into business and has entered the 17-race championship in the 10th race at Brno, Czech Republic. The next year seems to a be a hectic year for the team as it unwinds at  FIM Supersport World Championship. The event schedule for next year FIM has a a support race for the World Superbike championship, which is making its debut in India in March 2013. And our local team is sure to be at the chequers flag much ahead of others. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
