Sachin misses yet another ton in the ninties

sachinSachin Tendulkar the master blaster once again disappoints his fans back home by missing a century at 91. The batsman was going great, inspite of a life in the form of a misfield by Prior while Swann was bowling. He also survived a leg before as he padded up in the 74th over.

Sachin was 91 and declared leg before in Bresnan’s over. India was 262 for 4 then and Sachin  played a wonderful innings. In 172 balls he scored 11 boundaries.

This was the best chance for him to hit a century which was anxiously awaited by all the sport lovers but shattered. This was going to be his hundredth hundred if achieved in all the forms of the game summed up.

But it was a great knock from the man, given the situation India was in. Having lost the series in a disgraceful manner India was struggling, on Day 5 of the last match in the series to pull up a draw.

Starting his career in 1989 playing against Pakistan, Sachin has dominated all forms of cricket as a classy batsman adored by the entire cricket fraternity. He had scored 51 test hundreds and 48 in ODI’s. This was the most expected of him.
