How are Indians and Australians linked?

James Cook discovered Australia. This is what you would read in your first lessons on Australia in a social textbook but the books will have to get reprinted soon. Studies have found out that the Indians were as intelligent if not more at least 4000 years earlier.

During the holocene, studies revealed a flow of genes between India and Australia. The planet is known to be farther away from all the planets, lonely and isolated but there is a mysterious link between Indians and Australians.

Scientists said that there was a resemblance in the genes of Aborigines of Australia and the Indians. When the Indians arrived in Australia 4230 years ago, member of the Max Plank Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Germany said, Australia had one of the most modern human life as early as 45,000 years ago.

This also explains the country to have the oldest continuous population outside Africa. According to the studies, the age when Indian's apparently moved to Australia also confirms with several archeological changes of cropping, cultivation and stone tool employment. The Australian dogs Dingo also makes its first appearance in Australia around this time. Researchers say that this might not be a mere coincidence and that this could very likely be the reason for the change.

What baffling technology did the Indians possess 4000 years ago to have traveled to Australia. Plant processing techniques at that point of time is a marvel in itself. We have to wait further until there is more detail on the recent finding.
