LG Optimus L9 to feature at IFA trade fair

The newest addition to the LG Optimus L Style series is the Optimus L9 which would come loaded wih the Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone is believed to be presented at the IFA trade fair.

The Optimus L9 packs a 1GhZ dual-core processor with a 4.7 inch display of qHD or WVGA screen, the details of which we are unsure. It is also noted to have a 1GB RAM, a 5 MP camera like most other phones in its range. The high-density 2150 mAH SiO+ battery would allow the mobile to last longer than usual.

There are also the premium design elements inducted into the model from the Prada phone designed for LG. However major changes have been made to the software part but the main focus seems to be on the software part. The preloaded apps QTranslator, MY Style Keypad, a customizable keypad that allows you to arrange the keyboard layout as per the requirements, and QMemo apps on the smartphone.

It also has the revolutionary OCR technology, Optical Character Recognition technology which can be used to identify the text from the pictures or a camera which can also be translated to several other languages. QMemo is the note taking app, which was recently released for other L-Style series smartphones.
With LG struggling to make its presence in the market, the newer L9 could bring them a ray of sunlight. Company is yet to reveal the pricing or the availability information of this smartphone.
