With the help of some quality performance from Anup Kumar and Rakesh Kumar, U Mumba comfortably beat Jaipur Pink Panthers on Thursday at Sree Kanteevara Stadium in Bengaluru at 32nd match of fourth season of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League.

Jaipur Pink Panthers’ raider Suresh Kumar opened the account by Ajay Kumar scoring the first raid at the 3rd minute. U Mumba leveled the score at 1-1 with the help of Suresh Kumar’s raid. Both teams were playing cautiously and were not interested in taking risks. U Mumba was leading the score 4-2, when Panthers managed to level the score at 4-4 after 10 minutes. Ajay Kumar scored three points for Panthers whereas Rakesh Kumar scored four points  for U Mumba as defenses of both the teams played significantly well.

Later in the second half, leveling the score, Anup Kumar scored a raid point. After t24 minutes scored was tied at 11-11. Suresh Kuamar scored the first super raid at the 29th minute as U Mumba took the three-point lead. Soon, U Mumba scored their first all out cementing their lead to 20-14. Suresh Kumar proved vital in the win of U Mumba against Panthers. Panthers’ defense just could not let Panthers’ raiders to score points as they lead 22-15. Some response came from Rajesh Narwal and Jasvir Singh, who could not score a single point in the first half as Panthers trailed 21-26 till the full time where U Mumba confirmed their win in the match.

U Mumba are at 4th spot in the points table by scoring 27 points with 5 wins whereas Jaipur Pink Panthers remain on top with 31 points and 5 wins.
