The entire country is shivering with severe cold. Particularly on Sunday, the temperature has dropped to single digits in many places across the country, disrupting the normal life.  In the national capital, dense fog enveloped the city causing a delay to flight and train operations. Over 36 flights and 50 trains have been rescheduled in Delhi. On Monday morning the temperature was noted as 4.2 degrees, the least in last five years.

Coming to the Telugu states, the temperature is going down daily. In Telangana state, Adilabad, Karimnagar and Khammam are witnessing cold weather. In Andhra Pradesh, Vizag agency regions are registering zero degrees temperature. This would continue for one more month added the weather officials. However, there are no deaths reported cause of cold waves or fog. The MeT department also said, there is no threat of cold waves in both the Telugu states.
