Kodandaram Puts Bill Passing Onus On Congress

Telangana JAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram said at a meeting held at Yadagirigutta that the responsibility of passing the Telangana Bill in the Assembly of the State lies with the Congress party.  He said that if a voting is conducted, the Congress party should take all the steps to ensure passing of the bill in the state.

TRS polit bureau member Sunitha expressed her opinion that the Telangana Bill should be returned to President either by conducting the voting or just like that so that further action will be taken up by the Center.

On the occasion the Telangana supporters found fault with the Seemandhra leaders who tore off the copies of the bill.  Kodandaram said tearing or burning the bill sent by the President is against the Constitution as it was sent to Assembly for a discussion on it.

Political analysts say that the TRS party and TJAC always pressurized the Congress leaders on Telangana Bill never praised for the efforts made towards the process of the bill pushed through in spite of opposition from Seemandhra leaders including its own party leaders.
