The meeting of the Core Committee of the Congress Party with State party leaders that made a big hype all over the State ended with the normal dodging tactics of the party on the issue of the State Division.

Political and JAC leaders commented strongly on the result of the meeting.

TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakara Rao and Motkupalli Narasimhulu commented that the decision on Telangana has to be taken immediately to save from the anger of the people of Telangana who may oust Congress party from the region.  They said that the party is playing with the sentiments of the people of Telangana.

Telangana political JAC Chairman Prof.Kodandaram condemned the dodging and evading tactics of the AICC and said that the people of Telangana will get the Statehood not by the charity or generosity but by pressurizing the Congress party. 

BJP State President Kishan Reddy expressed his displeasure on the Congress Party's behavior and said that protests will be done tomorrow.

Only political leader that is silent on the whole issue is K Chandrasekhara Rao who asked other leaders of TRS also to keep silent.

OU Students tried to enter Gandhi Bhavan today in protest to the Congress party's failure to decide yesterday in the core committee as promised earlier. They were stopped and taken away by the police.
