Telangana political JAC today asked its supporters and pro-Telangana elements to organize the proposed Vanta-Vaarpu (cook and eat) programme on Sunday peacefully in Hyderabad and make it an unprecedented success.

Speaking to media persons at the TNGO office in Hyderabad, JAC convener Prof. Kodanda ram asked all pro-Telangana cadres and activists to conduct the programme peacefully but ferociously so that the heat of the programme will touch the Delhi rulers.

Disclosing that all top pro-Telangana leaders will participate in the main Vanta-Vaarpu programme at the Gun Park, Prof. Kodanda ram asked the government not to create hurdles for it.

Saying that he is not hopeful of the congress core committee announcing a quick decision on Telangana, he said the JAC will carry out the struggle till Telangana is achieved.

Meanwhile, DGP Aravinda Rao said that no organization has sought police permission to conduct Vanta-Vaarpu programme tomorrow in the city. “Our duty is to ensure continuity of normal life of the people and police commissioner will take decisions tomorrow depending on the situation,” he said.
