Day-1 of Group-II exam concludes peacefully

ExamCentersThe first of the APPSC’s 3-paper Group-2 examination concluded today peacefully in 1064 centers across AP with around 4.5 lakh candidates taking part to fill 873 posts.

In Telangana districts, the examinations were conducted amid unprecedented police security in the wake of the on-going mass general strike which has entered its 33rd day today. The examinations for the other two papers will be held tomorrow.

In Telangana, some candidates boycotted the examinations while some others in two centers tore away their hall tickets protesting against the delay in the formation of T state.

Reports reaching Hyderabad said that the JAC leaders of the Kakathiya University tried to obstruct the examinations at the Bharatiya Vidyabhavan Centre in Warangal but police foiled their attempts and arrested some of the leaders.
