Daughter's Facebook post burns Dad's pocket

A Florida headmaster's daughter cost her family $80,000 when she posted about their hefty lawsuit win in Facebook. Going into the details Patrick Snay, 69 sued Miami's Gulliver Prepatory School after it declined to renew his contract and won a settlement that included $10,000 in back pay, another $60,000 to his attorney and $80,000 for him to keep.

However in happiness Snay's daughter Dana posted this in Facebook which is supposed to be confidential matter. “Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver, Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT,” posted Dana.

The message circulated among Dana's 1,200 Facebook friends and eventually it reached the school. Four days after settling the deal, Gulliver’s attorneys notified Sany that they wouldn’t pay in terms to the voilation. Third District Court of Appeal agreed to Gulliver's appeal and ruled out the discrimination.

Well, kids and Teens watch out before you post anything in Facebook related to legal issues hereafter.
