Sachin says he would not join politics

Clearing the doubts that are in air, the star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has said that he has been a cricketer and the Rajya Sabha nomination was just an honour in recognition of his contribution to the cricket. He has also made it clear that he was not a politician by any chance and he would not quit cricket for the sake of politics.

Sachin Tendulkar who stated that cricket was his life would never join the politics. He has also said that several legendary personalities such as Lata Mangeshkar and Prithvi Raj Kapoor were nominated to the Rajya Sabha for their contribution in film and singing fields and similarly he was nominated to the Upper House for his expertise in cricket.

When asked to comment on his 100th century in ODI, Sachin Tendulkar said winning World Cup was most memorable event in his life time and said he waited nearly 20 years for the same.

The batting legend asked people to take extra step to achieve success when it’s round the corner.

Recalling the memorable moments after winning World Cup, he said his driver called him up to report that a few excited people were dancing on his car and he asked the driver not to stop them. He has also said that the good wishes of the public are important to him.
Tendulkar asked the people to enjoy the pleasure in giving little things to the needy. (Phani)
