China had yet again gone back to its die hard habits of bullying. Near the Line of Actual Control, an irrigation project in progress was temporarily halted in Demchok in Jammu and Kashmir after being objected and threatened by Chinese soldiers.

According to sources, the Chinese Soldiers had threatened the project contractor, officials and workers to stop all the work at the site. The project had been facing a lot of troubles since its inception in 2004. The project aims at drawing water from the Indus river and channeling it to 3.5 Km irrigation canal in Ladakh..

Chinese have believed to pressurize the proceeding for the third time in the irrigation project until now.
