Fire in Vijayanagaram district, child dead

The mid day fiery winds blew fire across a village in Vijayanagaram district, this afternoon. The fire which turned out to be a major accident occurred in the Gyrampet village of the district falling under the Monthada mandal. The fire gutted nearly 40 houses of the poor and killed a 2 years old child. Reasons behind the fire are still to be established. The boy was ambushed in his home which was on fire and razed to ashes. The whole place is right now in tension, amidst fierce fire fighting. Police have swung into action to assess the reasons of the accident

The sad accident left many homeless and most of their belongings razed to cinder. The flames spread rapidly due the heavy winds blowing. The boy was trapped in the house and could not be rescued.  The parents of the boy were wailing over their bitter loss. In spite of heavy fire fighting the flames have not been put off and sources say that the fire is spreading at a rapid pace. (With inputs from internet- AarKay)
