Revanth Reddy to tour in all Telangana districts:- Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is expected to embark on a district tour from December 28 to January 8, engaging in grama/ward sabhas as part of the government's 'Praja Palana' initiative. The purpose of these sabhas is to receive applications from potential beneficiaries who wish to avail themselves of the benefits under Congress' Six Guarantees. This will be Reddy's inaugural visit to the districts since assuming office on December 7. Since his inauguration, Reddy has been busy organizing the administration and participating in Legislative Assembly sessions until December 21. This was followed by a meeting with collectors and police chiefs from all districts on December 24.

As a result of the decisions made during this period, it was determined that the selection of beneficiaries for government schemes at grama and ward sabhas would be a means of enhancing transparency in governance. Reddy has urged ministers, MLAs, and collectors to provide a people-centric administration in their respective districts and constituencies. By doing so, they can address grievances at the local level, thereby reducing the need for people to travel to Hyderabad for redressal. According to sources from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), Reddy intends to visit all 10 former undivided districts to attend the sabhas and engage with the public to understand their concerns.

After scrutinizing the applications, collectors report the number of applications received in these meetings, as well as the number of applications received for each Congress guarantee and action taken reports (ATRs).
