Supreme Court Disappoints AP Govt Plans:- Supreme Court has postponed the case against Amaravathi development to December. The state government council has pleaded to the Supreme Court bench of Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Bhela M Trivedi for an immediate hearing of the Amaravathi matter. But the court has cleared that it is not possible to hear it immediately as they have several cases lined up. Court cleared that they will hear the case in December and the date will be announced by the registry. The three capital has been kept on hold for now with this postponement. It's been 10 years since the state bifurcation, and Andhra Pradesh is still continuing to search for its capital region.

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan has promised in a public meeting that he will shift completely to Vizag in September and will make it operational as an executive capital. It is now clear that Jagan’s plea on the Amaravathi region will be heard only in December, until which Andhra Pradesh's three capital or no capital decision pending will continue. Besides this Amavarathi farmers have received notices from the supreme court on the state's appeal as the farmers are insisting to develop the Amaravathi capital region.
