The mobile health care services serve patients at their doorstep. The bike ambulance services have been introduced in the country for the first time in the country and will have a chance to reach the patients even in heavy traffic. A trained Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will respond and reach the patient at the earliest. They can even reach interior slums in minutes where ambulances cannot reach. They are being specially trained after which they have been assigned duties. Along with these 102 Amma Vodi ambulance vehicles have been introduced to serve pregnant women and infants at their door step.
