Owaisi Condemns Terror Attack On Amarnath Yatris; Questions BJP For “Failure”:- AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, made some sensational comments, condemning the terror attack on the Amarnath pilgrims.

Owaisi asked the Modi government to explain, despite intelligence warnings about a possible attack, why it failed to protect them.

The Hyderabad MP said that he strongly condemned the attack as nobody had a right to kill innocent people. He further stated that after the BJP came to power, this was the second terror attack on Amarnath pilgrims. Owaisi demanded that despite intelligence warning which was carried by the media on June 26, the government should explain why it failed to ensure their safety.

“The BJP is in power at the Centre and is also ruling Jammu and Kashmir along with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). It is the moral responsibility of the government to tell people why they failed,” said the Lok Sabha member. Such attacks would be carried out were indicated by Kashmiri terrorist Syed Salahuddin in an interview to The Telegraph, pointed out Owaisi. “It is time the BJP at the Centre does some course correction,” he added.

Salahuddin along with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) wanted to create a 2008-like situation in the Kashmir Valley, alleged Mr. Owaisi. He further slammed those trying to enact politics, over the killing of innocent pilgrims. Owaisi said they should not allow LeT and ISI to create problems.

“We should also keep in mind what China is doing on the Sikkim border.”

Referring to the arrest of one Sandeep Kumar from Uttar Pradesh for his links with the LeT outfit, the MP said it raised an important question. For linking the Amarnath Yatra with Haj pilgrims, Owaisi also found fault with the Shiv Sena. It should take out its anger on the government, if Shiv Sena was angry and upset over the terror attack.

He further questioned Shiv Sena to explain why it continued to lend it’s support to the BJP Government, when it failed to ensure safety and security to the Amarnath pilgrims.
