YSRCP chief, Jagan Mohan Reddy met former Union minister Dasari Narayana Rao, at the latter’s residence yesterday and this meet is now creating new buzzes and hinting a move in the Kapu community.
Jagan, accompanied by TTD Board former chairman, Bhumana Karunakara Reddy, met Dasari and spoke for about 30 minutes. Not to the surprise of many, Jagan maintained tight-lipped, avoiding the reason, behind the meeting.
Speaking to the media, Dasari said that, he had a good association with YS Rajashekar Reddy and even applauded Jagan, for his leadership qualities and wished that, he would emerge as the stronger leader in the coming days.
On the other side, the critics opined, the reason behind the meeting is said to be that, Jagan was upset with the Kapus community, turning towards the TDP-BJP combine, particularly in the central Coastal districts, in the last general elections, that prevented the YSRCP from coming to power.
Janasena Chief, Pawan Kalyan’s influence on the Kapu community had helped TDP-BJP combine to get a majority of seats. Later, due to the several unknown reasons, Kapus, Kammas and other sections quitted YSRCP.
Jagan hunt: Ramoji to Dasari
A few months ago, Jagan and his trusted party leader Karunakara Reddy met Ramoji Rao, whose media group focused intensely on Jagan’s involvement in serious crimes by carrying a series of articles before and during the elections and supported TDP.
A few weeks ago, Jagan deputed his party leader Ambati Rambabu to meet Kapu leader, Mudragada Padmanabham. Now, Jagan himself went to meet Dasari, who still has a major influence on Kapus in East and West Godavari districts.
Speaking about the meeting, Karunakara Reddy said that, he or his party is not against any community or caste. But the oppositions are trying to defame Jagan’s image by spreading fake news. Being the politicians, we have the right to meet everyone, be it Ramoji or Dasari.
On the other side, Pawan Kalyan maintains a good rapport with Dasari and the duo are even getting ready to work for a film. At this point of time, Dasari meeting Jagan, is hinting a bad weather, between Pawan and Dasari.
