Director Dasari Narayana Rao Hospitalised for Lung Infection

Veteran film director and former Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao has been hospitalised on Tuesday. He has admitted to ICU at KIMS hospital in Hyderabad.

According to sources, he is undergoing surgery for a Lung infection, at the hospital. He was shifted to ICU and is being treated under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors.

The doctors said that it is a normal health problem and nothing to be worried. They also said that the director would be discharging soon.

Dasari looked quite healthy and active when he attend some events in this month. He also attended the pre-release function of megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No.150 and sent his best wishes to the mega hero.

He has directed more than 150 films and produced 53 films. He also starred in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. He is one of super strong personality in Tollywood industry.

On the work front, the director is currently working with Power star Pawan Kalyan and on the other side, he is also planning to make a film on Jayalalitha’s life which would be a biopic. The director is busy with the script.
