TDP to spread its wings

Post the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh, many Telugu Desam Party leaders believed that the party could turn to a national party and accordingly the leadership of TDP is now taking measures to spread its wings. So as part of the strategy to get national status, TDP decided to launch the membership registration in six states and they are Mahrashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Odisha and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. If TDP manages to get good number of supporters and new members, then TDP will have marginal chances to contest the in elections whenever they are scheduled.

Among six states, TDP wants to focus more in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states where the gultes' are more in population. Specially in Bangalore and Chennai cities, the Telugu Diaspora has phenomenal presence and TDP will float its membership initiative in Raichur, Kolar, Coimbatore, Kanchipuram, Krishnagiri places in a way to penetrate in the rural areas. Similarly, TDP will look at Maharashtra and Odisha states and the target is get a base.

Party office in Andaman?

TDP has few supporters in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and party chief Chandrababu Naidu has wrote to the Lieutenant Governor of Andaman seeking space to establish party office over there. For this the LG also replied that there are three suitable places, however, TDP is yet to take a decision on this. AP CM has been busy with the state affairs and soon will discuss various plans to strengthen party in state as well as in other states.
