Confusing statements on Survey

The Telangana government which has called for a comprehensive survey on 19th of this month, is making strange and confusing statements. We all know that Telangana CM KCR has appealed to all the people of state to be available at home for the survey and missed ones, would also miss the government benefits. Alerted by this, Telanganites who are residing in other parts of the country are planning to come Telangana on 19th of this month. Few of them appealed to the government to arrange special trains also.

However, Irrigation minister Harish Rao gave an explanation on this issue. He said Telanganites who are staying in other states for job purpose, can stay at their respective places and need not specially come for the survey purpose. One wonders how come this reply will work ? From one end, KCR urges everyone to be at home and provide all information to the government, coming to the other end, Harish says people living out of Telangana are exempted. What is logic?

As the oppositions are demanding, may be TRS government should come up with clear stand on household survey.  If the survey really benefits true Telangana people it is fine, but it may fail if the motto is to remove Seemandhra people from the voter list.
