The Minister Danam Nagender said that there is a possibility that whip will be issued to ensure passing of the Telangana Bill under the direction from the party high command.

Danam said on Friday to the media representatives that a special session of the Assembly can be convened in case the bill cannot be pressed in the current sessions.  He also said that Digvijay Singh is going to meet the Hyderabad leaders and corporaters today afternoon to take their objections on the decision of the GoM.

A party whip is an instruction to the party members that is issued during passing of a crucial decision of the party.   Whip is of three types. 

1. An One line whip simply informs the party members to vote.

2. A Two line whip seeks the members’ attendance also during the voting.

3. A Three line whip is a directive to attend and vote according to the party’s decision.
