A Public Interest Litigation is filed in the High court today challenging Union Cabinet's approval for bifurcation of the State of Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana from it to form a separate State of Telangana.
High Court may take up the PIL on Monday.
Previously a similar PIL was filed when CWC took the decision of bifurcation but it was not considered by the High Court. A decision of CWC is only a recommendation to the Government. But now the case is different as it is the decision of the Cabinet Ministers who are part of the Governance.
