Anna Hazare declared today at Farrukhabad while attending ‘Janatantra Yatra’ that the Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi and Vice President of AICC Rahul Gandhi are not suitable for the dignified post of Prime Minister.  

Anna Hazare said it when he was asked by some reporters about his view on the Prime Minister candidates of BJP and Congress parties.

Anna says that corruption is rampant in the country and Modi being Chief Minister for 10 years in the State of Gujarat but failed in removing the hurdles in implementing Lokayukta in the State which shows that Modi is not interested in eradicating corruption in the State.  When he cannot do it in a State, he cannot be expected to do it on the national level.

Anna also is not in favor of Rahul Gandhi to hold that position.  Although Narendra Modi was declared as the PM candidate for BJP, Congress party did not so far declared any one as its PM’s candidate.   In fact Rahul Gandhi has been denying his contesting for the post whenever the question rose. 

BJP President Rajnath Singh challenges Congress party and says that it cannot dare to do it before elections.
