The Central Investigating Agency CBI lodged a fresh FIR on the coal scam in which the names of Navin Jindal of Jindal Group and former State Minister for Coal Dasari Narayana Rao mentioned as the accused.  

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd., Gagan Sponge and two more companies were charged in the FIR as the Jindal Group is the single largest one that was allotted 11 blocks of coal.  

CBI in its investigations into the Coal Allocation Scam already questioned Dasari Narayana Rao some time back.  CBI is also conducting raids simultaneously at Delhi, Hyderabad and Calcutta at 19 places.
