Babu not happy over railway budget

TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his dissatisfaction over the railway budget. He has alleged that state was at loss during this budget. Babu said that even after a person from the state becoming the minister of state for railways, it didn't benefit the state. Also, he cited the number of MP s from this state.

It may be noted that only a few new trains are allotted to the state this time and a couple of other new trains will now touch different stations in the state. Here are some new trains that pass through certain stations in the state:

  • Kurnool-Secunderabad Express (daily)

  • Gandhidham-Vishakapatnam Weekly Express

  • Kakinada-Mumbai Bi-Weekly Express

  • Chennai-Nagarsole Express (weekly)

  • Howrah-Chennai Express-via Duvvada

  • Jabalpur-Yashwantpur Express (weekly via Dharmavaram)

  • Tirupati-Puducherry Weekly Express

  • Vishakapatnam-Kollam Express (weekly)

  • Tirupati-Bhuvaneshwar Weekly Express (via Vishakapatnam)

  • Mangalore-Kacheguda Weekly Express

The observers said that the confusion in the state regarding the bifurcation issue could be one of the reasons why state was apparently neglected in the current railway budget. Anyway, ex railway employees, however, welcomed this budget and said it was more balanced one.
