UPA FDI Bill: TRS Opposed to the bill

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is going to join the league, which would be opposing UPA's Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) bill, which will be placed in Parliament tomorrow.

TRS chose not to support the bill keeping in view the apparent damage the bill causes to the Indian retail industry.  TRS MLAs Harish Rao and Eetela Rajender confirmed to the media that the party would not support FDI bill.

It has to be mentioned here that TRS chief KCR and another MP from the party, Vijayashanti already left for Delhi to take part in the vote on FDI bill.

FDI bill enables foreign companies to enter the Indian retail sector. Many political parties have been crying foul on this bill since it would completely eliminate the regular retail industry.
