Jagan case: May be completed in 3 months, says CBI director

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) director AP Singh has said that it would take at least three months time for the bureau to wind up with the probe into illegal assets case.  He has said that a reterogatory  was issued in connection with the case and response from foreign countries was awaited. He has also said that Jagan's illegal assets case was being taken care by the Andhra Pradesh High Court and Supreme Court. Further he stressed there was no pressure on them from any one.

Earlier, AP Singh said Jagan case was unprecedented and he had never seen such a crime in his career. He even said that Jagan's alleged crime involved various crimes committed in different angles. Also, he said CBI never probed such a multi-dimensional case. It may be recalled that Jaganmohan Reddy, son of late YSR, was alleged to have dolled out favours to some private companies from the government with the influence of his father (the then chief minister) and in return the companies invested in Jagan's companies.  High Court ordered CBI probe into the case and Jagan was subsequently arrested by CBI a couple of months ago. His bail plea was also rejected by the Supreme Court. Now Jagan is in Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad.
