'Permit the march,' TDP to DGP

The leading opposition in the state Telugu Desam Party today requested the Police to permit the proposed Telangana March scheduled on September 30.  The T leaders of the party Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Mothukupalli Narasimhulu today questioned the DGP Dinesh Reddy that why a peaceful march was denied permission. The TDP leaders expressed solidarity with the T March called by the T JAC.

They requested the DGP to permit the march as it is a peaceful protest by the T activists to enlighten the need for a separate state.  Later speaking to the new persons they said that the party was supporting the T March.

The tussle between the pro Telangana activists and the government is high on the cards. The activists are going ahead with the preparations in spite of the government denying the permission to go ahead on the issue. Sources say that police have started rounding up pro-Telangana activists in the region. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
