CJ visit Lepakshi showroom

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Justice, Pinakini Chandra Gosh has visited Lepakshi handicrafts showroom in Gunfoundry area of Hyderabad. He has observed the handicraft work and hailed Lepakshi for striving for the development of handicraft industry in the state. It may be noted that Lepakshi handicrafts was set up in 1982. It has its branches all over the state. It has got 14 showrooms across the state and three in Hyderabad.  The Government of Andhra Pradesh gave Rs. 150.36 lakhs and Government of India gave Rs. 50 lakhs (when it was set up) for promotion and development of handicrafts.

Today, VIPs from all fields take time to visit Lepakshi and take how some of the precious articles with them. Right from wood carvings to Kalamkari prints and Nirmal paintings, one could get everything at Lepakshi handicrafts.
