CM rules out Cong role in CBI inquiry

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has reiterated that Congress has no role to play in the CBI inquiry on YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy. He has said that CBI was carrying out its investigation only on the orders of the court. He has alleged that Jagan was resorting to political games only for defending himself from the mistakes he committed. Kiran Kumar Reddy made these statements during his by-election campaign in Ongole. He has also vowed on Tanguturi Prakasham Pantulu and said that he had no revengeful thoughts on Jaganmohan Reddy.

Gulam Nabi Azad, the AICC political observed to the state, has said the Congress party was implementing all the developmental programmes kicked off during YSR’ term. Azad has also requested people to vote for Congress.   (Phani)
