Samaikya Andhra Forum warns over attempts to divide state

The Samaikya Andhra Forum said today it would peacefully oppose all designs and attempts to divide the state into two.

Reacting to the statement of the TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao that Telangana agitation would be revived after Jan 25, the Forum released a pamphlet in Visakhapatnam appealing to the people of the state to live in peace and togetherness.

“The people of the state should seek harmonious living in peace and togetherness,” the Forum said in its pamphlet, adding it would make peaceful attempts to oppose moves to divide the state.

The Forum said the division of the state would land people in difficulties and hamper development in all fields. The Forum, born with the slogan of ‘united AP is the fundamental right of all Telugus’ promised to struggle for keeping the state united under any circumstances.

“KCR should give up his attempts to divide the state at least now as he has done more harm already to the feeling of togetherness of the Telugu people in the state,” said the Forum. (JUBS)
