7 Jagan group MLAs to go back to Cong?

With CBI gradually tightening its noose around the YSR congress party chief YS Jaganmohan reddy in the illegal mining case and also in the illegal properties case, most of the Congress MLAs supporting him are getting second thoughts over continuing in his camp.

Reports said 7 of the 26 MLAs who have resigned from the congress held a secret meeting on Monday and decided to go back to the party fold. They have reportedly decided to hold another meeting and then announce their decision openly.

The MLAs are said to be concerned about Jagan not giving any assurance to them on giving party tickets in the next elections and also not announcing any key policy decisions of the party.

They feel they are losing importance in their constituencies as the concerned ministers have been taking up activities and launching programmes without their involvement. They also feel they would face a threat to their political existence if the PCC appoints in charges in their constituencies.

They also suspect that CBI may arrest Jagan in the near future and if he is arrested, they would face a political vacuum.  “So, it is better to take a decision immediately,” they seem to have decided. Reports said some more MLAs are likely to follow suit.
