T cong MPs boycott voting on price rise

kcrtelanganaT congress MPs, who have quit their posts demanding the formation of separate Telangana state, today disobeyed the congress party whip and boycotted the voting on the price rise issue in the Lok Sabha.

Except for Suresh Shetkar, all other T congress MPs boycotted the session and were busy discussing the T issue in the house of K. Keshava rao when the voting took place in the Lok Sabha.

Suresh Shetkar voted for the government on the resolution introduced by the opposition on the price rise issue while YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy, who took the oath today, supported the resolution.

Despite the absence of the T congress members, the motion was defeated showing majority for the government.
